Volunteer Opportunities

Review agenda and supporting materials prior to meetings. Be informed about the programs, it’s clients, curriculum, services/supports, activities and be prepared to inform others. Provide support and advice to programs, assist in the development of new programs and identify best practice standards. Serve as an ambassador and advocate to the program, providing a connection to and ongoing exchange of information and ideas with professionals in the field, community members and other external contacts. Work collaboratively with Program Coordinator and Manager of Community and Youth Development to ensure that all programs are delivering content that is up-to-date, inclusive and relevant to its clients. Assist with program education and promotion. Assist in the identification and recruitment of new committee members. Provide recommendations for presentation topics at advisory committee meetings.
